Log home in need of a restoration treatment? You aren’t alone. We’ve worked with countless clients across the south to help them reclaim the quality of their exterior.
Because sometimes, your log home just needs a little help. And we’re here to give it.
Our Restoration Prep Process
We believe that preparation is one of the most important processes in our restoration service. This is the step that sets the stage for the rest of the solution – and this is what locks in quality for a lifetime. In general, we utilize one of three methods to prepare your log home:
- Walnut blasting
Our most common approach! Also called “media blasting,” this dry method blasts the wood surface with walnut particles to add texture. From here, we can sand the exterior down so it looks like new.
- Chemical stripping
We tap into four chemicals to break down existing buildup and strip the wood surface. After this, we can sand the exterior so it looks like new. All our products are environmentally friendly, too.
We typically use this for interior surfaces. It’s labor-intensive, but the result delivers furniture quality to your logs.
Our team will carefully assess your property to decide which option is best for your home. After a consultation with you, it’s time for us to get to work. And it’s time for your exterior to get a new lease on life.
